For those who haven't taken any creative writing classes. Object writing is a form of stream of consciousness writing that is based on a word. Usually an object. I bend the rules a bit and use a random word generator that uses a larger database to pull from, many words are not nouns. It makes the writing a bit more challenging, but also more interesting in my opinion. If you are new to this sort of thing, I suggest to just begin with an object (read 'thing' in the noun category). Don't worry about staying on topic. The point of this exercise is to paint a picture in the readers head...
