Hear the difference here. If you can’t hear what she was doing to her cords listen closer to the comparison, it’s a subtle difference. Whether it was it her singing, her chain-smoking, her over talking or some combination of the above that caused her hemorrhages could up for debate (only Adele and her physicians could tell us for certain). Either way, the straining is more prominent in the older performance.

I could not agree more. The first I’d actually heard her (aside from Chasing which I never liked) was Someone Like You LIVE at the Brit Awards. I rellay don’t like the album version at all.Would it be possible to know what font you used in your header? For Nothings Broken.
